She also served as Concertmaster of the International Opera Theater's premier of "Iago" by Carlo Pedini in Citta della Pieve, Italy. In 2010 and 2011, Vena had the opportunity to study at the National Orchestral Institute where she held leadership positions in both chamber and orchestral performances. She also toured Austria as a member of the American Institute of Music Studies (AIMS). Most recently, Vena spent a month in the Middle East coaching at-risk young musicians at the Al-Kamandjati school. While there, she also toured as a member of the Al-Kamandjati Sixth Annual Baroque Festival. Vena is passionately dedicated to developing her craft as a musician and, in turn, using that craft to inspire others.
