INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS

Ticket sales and hall rentals cover less than half of the cost of operating the Allentown Symphony Orchestra and Symphony Hall. It is the annual generosity of individual contributors, in gifts from $10 to $10,000, that makes it possible for the Allentown Symphony Association to accomplish its mission. PROGRAM AND ARTIST SPONSORSHIP
 
Businesses, corporations and individuals throughout the Lehigh Valley provide important underwriting support for the programs and guest artists of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra and Symphony Hall. Program Sponsors receive a variety of special benefits, including incorporation into Allentown Symphony advertising, acknowledgement in programs, free tickets and special receptions. ANNUAL SYMPHONY BALL

For many years the premier social event in the Lehigh Valley, the Allentown Symphony Ball is now in its 62st year. Held annually on the first Saturday in February, the Symphony Ball raises funds for the programs of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, for Education and Community Outreach, and for the upkeep of the historic Allentown Symphony Hall. SYMPHONY SOCIETY

The Symphony Society is a designation for those individuals who make an annual unrestricted financial gift of $1,000 or more to the Allentown Symphony Association. The Symphony Society enjoys special privileges including advance notice of Symphony Hall events, reserved parking for selected Symphony Hall events, special receptions, trips, and other social functions. CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR SYMPHONY HALL

Since the early 1990’s, the Allentown Symphony Association has been involved in an intensive effort to upgrade, renovate and expand Allentown’s historic Symphony Hall. This effort is nearly complete: only stage modernizations and a final $2 million of fund raising remains. Once completed, this $10 million project will provide the citizens of the Lehigh Valley with an extraordinary resource for entertainment, education and cultural enrichment for years to come.
